Not the best way to lose weight

I lost weight

I found a truly perfect way to lose weight. Get a gallstone.

This is obviously not something you can choose to do but if you get one it really does work. I lost over a stone in 2 weeks. Of course it is rather a painful method of weight loss. I am now following the low fat diet I should have followed years ago so that I probably wouldn't have needed to lose weight and I wouldn't have a gallstone.

One of the things I have discovered on this diet is that you really don't need to eat much to keep your weight stable and, of course, even less to lose weight.

I have discovered new methods of cooking so that I can have some of my favourite foods still. Dry frying works perfectly well for most foods such as flatbreads. If I need to soften onions or other vegetables some hot water in the bottom of the pan works just as well as oil. Houmous can be made with a roast aubergine (eggplant) to add moisture in the place of olive oil. Fat free yogurt makes a good replacement for cream with home made meringue if you need something sweet.

In fact I feel so well and look so much better that I think I will continue the low fat diet even after the pesky gallbladder has been removed.
